I suggest bringing a system for P2P servers, especially for EU, where new characters can choose 2 options after finishing the character creation.
2 banners on the screen just like you do in the priden zone when you let people pick between league and empire.
These 2 banners would be asking the player if he or she is an experienced player and wants to jump straight into endgame already. Simply giving a level boosted character to the beginning of the most recent patch.
The other option would be suggesting to continue the journey through Sarnaut as a new player and experience the questing, lore, learning class as the player plays.
Problems
The problem this would solve would be the fact that many people and potential players are lost during the levelling process because levelling in Allods Online is outdated.
It kills the fun for people that want to jump into endgame. Takes days to level properly and get all the WM's done for potential players of the server. I want to point here at especially EU P2P as we are lacking playerbase to properly play the game. (We are trying, but we need help, allods team).
Detailed offer design
Give the player the option via a UI similar to the one you represent to the player when finishing the priden zone, wether the player wants to go to League or Empire.
2 banners where 1 shows new player perks, what it contains, levelling through the story, learning the class, recommended for newer players.
And the other showing what the boost contains. Maximum level character minus the most recently added patch so people jump into endgame with an update on what happend in the last update so players can enjoy endgame within a day of playing with all World Mysteries ready.
This would not be available for reincarnations or affect reincarnations.
This would only apply to Progenitors.
Comments and observations
The observation I made from playing EU P2P for 2 years+ now is that we're losing half the potential playerbase BECAUSE of the levelling part.
The game industry is catering to fast games like LOL games, shooter games that last 15m and done. Don't make people crawl through a levelling experience if they don't want to that lasts literally over 48 hours now.
Tips:
Have an active dialogue with other players
Listen to comments and criticisms.
Submit the idea in a way that appeals to both players and developers.
It's more playerbase so more subscriptions, thus more income for developers. More players to play the game with, thus more fun for players.
